I tried several dash cams before deciding on the 70mai M310. The M310 is easy to install. The setup was simple and painless. The images are clear and sharp. Operation is a breeze, especially since most of it is automatic - set it and forget it until you need to download an image. I especially like that the adjustment on the mount can be locked in place so I don’t have worry about the camera becoming misaligned if it is touched while cleaning the inside of my windshield. I was almost a victim of the insurance scam where the guy cuts you off and stops short so you’ll hit him. I was lucky and had witnesses. (The guy was eventually arrested.) The M310 is a great value and will be my witness if it ever happens again. And, customer support actually responds to you in a timely manner.

Very impressed for this price point
I drive ride share. It's of the utmost importance to audio and video record inside my car. As a retired police officer, audio and video have saved me from false accusations. No different as a ride share driver.This camera is a higher quality than I expected for the price point, and takes a 256GB card (it comes with NO SD card)! I have a dash cam already with front, inside and rear camera, but it only takes a 128GB card, thus, with three cameras recording, it loops after 3-4 hours. No good, I drive for 8 hours. This camera will record for 44, so I can download and save my recordings of my whole shift, times 5. I'm not having to pop out the SD card and download after every shift.The app works flawlessly with it. The camera responds well to voice control to lock a recording and such, it replies with a beep. Audio and video are great and the wide angle covers all my interior...It beats spending hundreds of dollars for a new 3 camera dash cam to cover the hours I need, if they exist. I read one review where a guy added it as a rear view camera. See, why spend more for a whole new system when you just add this. I can't speak to how it performs looking outward though.Please tip your ride share driver, lol

The camera itself appears to be sturdy and made from high quality materials. It's compact, but still lightweight. In the box the camera comes with some nice adhesion pads, a 12V car to USB-A adapter, and a long USB-C to USB-A cable. This particular product does not come with a microSD Card. it also comes with a hard plastic tool that you can use to pry up your car trim or push down the wiring to hide it from sight.

To setup the camera, change the settings, and view the recorded videos on the camera, you need to use the 70mai app that you download on your iPhone or Android phone. This app will have you make a WiFi connection directly to the camera to access it. I had issues with maintaining a stable connection when I tried to install an updated firmware on the camera, but I fixed that issue by configuring my Samsung phone to use the phone's MAC address instead of a randomized address. After I did that, I was able to do the firmware update with no issues.
In my Ford Explorer, I routed the wire from the camera across the top of the windshield, down the front A-pillar post, around the side of the instrument panel and along the bottom of the front dash and over to my center console where I had a USB-A port. However, I came up short by about 3 feet. So, instead of using this power cord I purchased online a USB-C power cord that is 11.5 ft long and connects to the OBD port (normally used by mechanics for diagnostics hookup) just under the dash on the driver's side.
I also noticed that the voice command feature doesn't work.
Update: After driving a few days with this camera activated it seems to be working just fine. It automatically starts up quietly and I can see the glowing green light on the end of the camera indicating it is on and recording. I've download a few of the recorded videos onto my phone and then transferred them to my desktop Mac computer. The videos look pretty sharp and are not laggy at all. I really like the simplicity in operation of this camera. I can definitely recommend this camera for those who want something inexpensive, easy to install and use.
I'll update my review after I use this new dash camera for about a week.
