Tough little light with big performance.

Tough little light with big performance.
I work the graveyard shift on a local flight line fixing helos. I needed something small with great illumination and this fits the bill. I have owned for about a year and have never failed me. The only problem that I have encountered was the lens detaching but was easily fixed with some contact cement. I have dropped from 10-15 feet more times than I could count and other than scratches and nicks still working like new. If you need a flashlight that could withstand the abuse of a mechanic shop get this.

I paid $4.99 for this light under the "add on program" and I love it....It has a well made feel to it and it is plenty bright enough, (I haven't even tried 18650 batteries in it yet)...It does have the quirky switch that requires you to scroll back to the highest setting every time you turn it on, but it is not really an issue once you learn to just push the switch button half-way to scroll through the selections...The luminescent ring is not very easy to see and I have not tried the bottle opener, but I still say If you come across this flashlight as an "add on program" special, you should grab it...

this is a really good, compact flashlight. I really like how it has one button for turning the regular beam on and off, and a second one for when you need the strobe. No more cycling through 4-5 other settings on the power switch. I'll have to see how it holds up over time.

The P50 is bright -- I'd guess 800 or 900 lumens. The beam tint is nice, maybe 5000k with just a tiny bit of green around the hot spot. The walls are thick aluminum and the light feels solid. It has a mini-USB charging port that I haven't tried yet. The 4-LED battery level lights shine for a few seconds when you firtst turn on the flashlight, which is nice. So, for $4.99 the P50 is a deal, but for most people I'd recommend you spend more money and get a better flashlight. (I've bought Zanflare lights complete with a battery for under $20)

The P50 is bigger than it needs to be. It just has two light levels and they are too close -- nothing in the 5 to 100 lumen level. The threads are not square cut. There's a dedicated button for strobe, right next to the power button, and it's easy to hit accidentally. The black finish doesn't seem durable.

The flashlight has a "pseudo zoom": when you unscrew the head (exposing the USB port) the beam gets about 30% smaller, but no brighter and the hot spot stays the same size. The box doesn't mention a zoom, so let's just say it doesn't zoom. The box does mention "One button to strobe", and that's probably the most unique feature of the light.

The main reason for me writing this review is to warn people that within 2 days, one of them (comes in a 2 pack) started smoking while being charged and then burnt its own charging cord before a small fire started. Not kidding. The second one then stopped taking a charge and eventually died.

With that said, if one didn’t catch on fire and the other one didn’t die, the performance for price would be insane, they were super bright, quickly charged and had a really cool/useful lantern setting all while being compact. I was In the process of ordering another two sets for the household. Hope they get it right and they will do very well with this concept.

He was impressed with it, it is lightweight but feels durable and has a nice bright light!
The only downside, if it even is one, is that it doesn't come with batteries.

Heavy and large as a "pocket lite". But the control button on top makes it so much easier to operate than the smaller T6.
Flashlights w/ the back button are non-ergonomic.
The T6-C, has a magnet. T6-D has a bottle opener, useless in USA.
    T6-D/C dims 6.55"L, 1.57" Dia zoom, 1.25" Dia back, 215g(using 18650 bat).
T6 dims 5.36"L, 1.45" Dia zoom, 1.10" Dia back, 160g(using 18650 bat). Easier fit in pants pocket.
Using a 18560 bat needs a plastic adapter tube to prevent from rattling in the case(not included, hence 4 stars.)
Both T6 and T6-CD flashlights seem to be the same in brightness and wide angle beam.
The florescent ring does glow, but its so weak you can barely see it.
