It's loud on high, barely audible on low. If you can bare the hum on high it will greatly improve air quality. Learned this through experience. Like any filtration system, the only flaw with filtering is circulation. You can never put a filter in a corner, obstruct circulation with furniture or expect instant results. That being said, if competing next to others, this filter will leave a room smelling like fresh paint. I leave it tucked into a corner while the living room is being used, but once we go to bed I pull it out. Partner this with their "surface cleaner." They don't call it a vacuum because it cleans so well. Partnered together and now I haven't dusted in a few months because of the lack of dust in the air.

This is, by far, the best air purifier I have ever used. I have tried Holmes, Filtrete etc... and this is the best HEPA class purifier in terms of build quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. It is also very quiet, or extremely powerful when you want it to be. To top it off, this is a US made product!So too, remember to buy the OEM filters here -- and avoid the aftermarket filters. None of the aftermarket HEPA or carbon filters have an official medical grade rating like these filters do.

Arrived broken. No damage to the box, looks like it was packed this way.
Expect way better from a product of this level.
After owning a previous generation, this unit is by far cheaper and obviously poorly made.
Tried to return or exchange and my only option is return and wait 30 days for a refund.
Horrible experience. Would not recommend. They are not what they were in the past. Would avoid at all cost.
