Every few months, I pull this out of my glove box to give it a boost so I know it's charged if I need it. The power bank is retaining its charge amazingly well! It hardly needs any boosting at all!
Yes, it's kinda hefty and yes, it needs to be charged up for use. The solar panel is to keep the battery from draining too quickly. So many ports! Charge multiple items. Lost a cable? It has spot charging as well. I haven't needed the flashlight, but it seems plenty bright when I've tried it out.

Like a lot. Just one issue.
I bought 2 of these chargers. One for my wife, and one for my daughter. It charges fast as long as you're using a USB cord. The only issue I have is it won't charge if I'm using a type c × type c charging cord.

Other reviewers claim the solar power function works beautifully. This was not my case. It has never worked. The green light on the solar panel does turn on, but I see zero signs of any charging happening (e.g. a blinking LED light on the other side).
When using the ports to charge, the charging stops by itself 90% of the time for no apparent reason. I totally regret my purchase.

This product is SOO cool! It's extremely portable so you can slip it into a beach bag or hiking bag. It's on the heavier side due to durability but it doesn't take up a lot of space which i love. The best is that it can charge 2 phones at once and it's fast. One of the phones charged a few % in just a couple minutes. We were stunned. And the best is that you can lie out in the sun on the beach and have it laying next to you charging if you need it. My boyfriend's phone is SO OLD and his battery lasts a few hours at a time when in use so the portable charger has been extremely helpful.
