This is my first laminator. I’m loving how it can add some extra holographic lamination sheets to my craft projects. I’ve been mostly using the cold lamination, but I’ve also done some hot. Both work great.The machine warms up quickly for hot lamination. I clicked on and bam it was ready.My magnetic books marks now have an extra bling layer when I cold laminate them with holographic lamination and then cut them out with a Cricut machine.One reason I got this laminator was the feed size. It’s big and takes up to A3 size whereas most others only take the smaller standard 8.5 x11. Overall, this laminator is a good value with extra bells and whistles.

    This is my 1st laminator, so I didn't really know what to expect, as I've never laminated anything before either. It turned out to be quite simple. Just switched the button to "Hot", then a green light started blinking. Once the green light turned solid, I started laminating. I had a few dozen business cards and some certificates which I wanted laminated. I put a business card in a pouch (I used Apache Laminating Pouches, 5 mil, Business Card Size) , centered it, then inserted the closed end into the front of the machine. After about 10 seconds, the laminated card came out of the back of the machine. Then I just repeated the process, until I was finished. When I was done, I ran a sheet of copy paper through the unit to possibly clean any glue that may have gotten on the rollers. Overall, the unit ran perfectly. Super clear and no bubbles in the plastic whatsoever. I'm very pleased with this machine so far.

    I chose this Crenova laminator mostly because I wanted 13" and didn't want one with a paper cutter attached to the top of the machine. I figured if I needed a good paper cutter, I'd rather get one separately. The paper cutter which came with this works OK, but it's really not meant for heavy usage. You can only cut one thing at a time. It will cut through 5 mil laminate nicely, but if I had a lot of stuff to cut, then I'd probably want to use a guillotine-style paper cutter. Max size for this paper cutter is just 12" also, which is fine for my purposes. The corner rounder works OK too. It cuts through the 5 mil laminate cleanly. Another selling point was that this machine came with 25 pouches also (size: 5 A3, 5 A4, 5 A5, and 10 A6). So that saved me from buying more pouches, other than the business card-sized pouches which I needed.

    This laminator is the one I should have bought from the beginning. The wide portion of it makes it easy to use and you don't have to be as precise as you do with a smaller one. You can put a piece of laminating film in it sideways and it'll come out on the other end looking great. It's quiet. It does hot and cold which I don't know what the cold is for but who cares. Just get it.

    Update: I'm not changing the stars rating because it really is a good laminator for the price. HOWEVER, if you're purchasing this product because it comes with a corner rounder, well. . . the corner rounder is crap! It does not cut cleanly through the laminated items and I ended up with sore thumbs trying to use it. I eventually purchased a more heavy duty corner rounder which worked very well! Otherwise, the machine itself is still working just fine!

    With the whole Corona Virus thing going on, I'm doing preschool at home for my 4 year old granddaughter. Got this laminator to help with projects and I could not be happier! It is very easy to set up and use. It comes with an assortment of laminating pouches. Also, it can handle pretty wide paper. I believe up to 13" wide, so most construction paper can go through the machine. It also has a low profile so I can easily set it out of reach of my younger grand child when not in use. Good value for the money!

    The laminator does not heat up enough for more than one run-through. I had bubbles, half-laminated sheets, and a horrible seal on the things that did laminate.
    I am very disappointed that I have to return the product and search for a better quality machine.
