How to use BlitzWolf BW-WS04
1. Turn on the power
The battery box of the indoor weather station is equipped with 3 AAA batteries (the batteries are only for internal timing memory and
cannot support screen display), and plug in a USB external power supply. The outdoor detection sensor is loaded with 2 AAA batteries.
2. Connect to the pairing APP
The paired WIFI needs to use 2.4GHz WIFI, and the password is entered correctly without special characters at the same time. The WIFI signal strength is high. It is recommended that the product is connected and paired. The distance between the mobile phone and the WIFI is close, and the 5GHz WIFI does not support connecting
1. Scan the QR code to identify/search and download BlitzWolf APP in the app store.
2. Register and log in to BlitzWolf APP.
3. Go to the APP homepage, click + in the upper right corner, select the corresponding device to add. Confirm that the WIFI icon of the device is flashing and the device is in the pairing state.
4. Confirm that the WIFI icon of the device is flashing and the device is in the pairing state.
(Long press the “Snooze/Light/WIFI” button for 3 seconds to enter the WIFI distribution mode)
5. Enter the WIFI password according to the operation prompt.
6. Wait a moment, the pairing process will be completed and the device name can be customized.
3. APP Use
Through the APP, you can set alarms, temperature alarms and conversion units, view historical records, etc. The time setting will
be obtained from the Internet according to the location of the mobile APP after pairing. For other operations, please follow the
APP prompts to operate by yourself.
*Multi-product linkage use: In the same APP, multiple products that cannot function can be set to linkage use, and when one condition
is met, another product will automatically execute a certain program. Please debug and use the linkage function according to the actual test situation. There is no guarantee that the linkage will be 100% successful.
4. Outdoor detection sensor installation
4.1 Frequency band setting and adjustment: Indoor weather stations and detection sensor frequency bands need to be always one-to-one correspondence. The detection sensor frequency band defaults to CH1. If there are multiple outdoor unit detection sensors, please select a different frequency band in the sensor,
a. To change the channel between 1, 2, and 3 on the indoor unit thermometer, press the “CH” channel button. The channel setting will be displayed above the outdoor temperature.
b. To change the channel option on the outdoor sensor, open the battery compartment cover and there is a button in the upper left corner to select.
4.2 Installation location
a. To ensure accurate temperature measurement, place the device in direct sunlight, away from any heat sources or vents.
b. The distance between the display unit and the outdoor sensor must be within 99 feet (30m).
c. In order to maximize the wireless communication range, the device should be placed away from large metal objects, thick walls, metal surfaces or other objects that may restrict wireless communication
d. To prevent wireless interference, please place the two devices at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from electronic devices (TVs, computers, microwave ovens, radios, etc.).
5. Key operation method.
Under normal circumstances, it is recommended to use APP for operation. If you need to manually set it, you can follow the instructions below for key operation.
5.1 Time setting
- Long press the Mode button to enter the time setting mode.
- Setting sequence: year → month day— 12/24H+ hour minute.
- Press the “UP” “DOWN” key once, the set item will increase or decrease by one step
- Press and hold the “UP” and “DOWN” keys for more than 3 seconds to increase or decrease quickly, 8 steps per second.
- Press the “MODE” key to confirm and enter the next setting item.
- If there is no key for 10 seconds, the setting will be saved and exit.
5.2 Alarm setting
- Press the Mode button to switch to display A1-A2-A3
- Press “UP” or “DOWN” to choose to turn on/off the current alarm
- Long press the Mode button for 2 seconds to enter the currently displayed alarm setting
- Setting sequence: Hour Minute Period Mode Exit
- Mode order: All (mo-su) –Weekdays (mo-fr) weekends (sa, su)
- If there is no operation for 10 seconds, the existing settings will be saved and the time display will be returned, and the correspond-
ing Alarm will be turned on automatically.
5.3 Temperature alarm setting
- Single press the Alert key to turn on/off the alert mode. When I it is lit, it means that Alert is turned on.
- Press and hold the Alert key for >3 seconds to enter the Alert setting:
- Press the Channel key to select the outdoor channel to be set.
- Setting sequence: indoor upper limit temperature indoor lower limit temperature → outdoor upper limit temperature → outdoor
lower limit temperature. - Press and hold the “UP” and “DOWN” keys for more than 3 seconds to increase or decrease quickly, 8 steps per second.
- If there is no operation for 10 seconds, the existing settings will be saved and the normal display will be returned.
5.4 Maximum/Minimum View
- The Max/min record is automatically cleared and re-recorded at 0:00 every day
- Press the “Up” key to switch the display: current temperature MAX temperature → MIN temperature current temperature.
- When MAX or MIN is displayed, press and hold the “UP” key for >3 seconds to clear the memory data, the buzzer will beep once,
and the temperature will display “–,-” for 3 seconds, and then return to the current temperature. - When MAX or MIN is displayed, if there is no operation for 10 seconds, it will return to the current temperature display.
