MODEL HISTORY
The prototype of “H1 HURTLE” is Hmmwv’s civilian model Hummer, that is, a Hummer off-road vehicle. In the late 1970s, the U.S. Army, based on the experience of the Vietnam War, found that it needed a new generation of light multi-purpose military vehicles. The military vehicles required by the military at the time needed to conform to high mobility, multi-purpose, wheeled (nontracked) vehicles. After an eight-year testing phase, in the late 1980s, the number “M” was officially awarded, incorporated into the
military system and distributed to various military units. In 1992, AMG launched the Hmmwv civilian model Hummer! That is, the Hummer off-road vehicle, due to its excellent performance, is known as the “king of off-road”.
